listai.tools is a directory of AI tools, sorted by what each tool actually makes rather than by who it is marketed to. Six verticals cover writing, image, video, audio, coding and AI agents, and 82 categories go one level deeper, from AI SEO writers to text-to-speech and coding agents.
Founders paste a link and the listing fills itself in: tagline, description, category, pricing and access model. A person reads every submission before it goes live, and a published listing keeps a permanent page with a link to the tool's own site.
Listings are ranked by upvotes and nothing else. The whole catalogue can also be read by AI agents over MCP, with search, comparisons, alternatives and new launches, without an API key.
